Grid-ScaleAC Block20 ft containerUpdated Aug 27, 2026
Sungrow ST6900UX-4H PowerTitan 3.0 is a containerized LFP battery energy storage system supplied as an AC block. It provides 6.904 MWh nominal energy and operates across a 1101.6 to 1489.2 V DC window. The system uses liquid cooling and weighs 55 tonnes (121,254 lb).
Use Cases
Sungrow ST6900UX-4H PowerTitan 3.0 Liquid Cooled Energy Storage System has energy capacity within the utility-scale range. That points to use in front of the meter, on the utility's side of the connection.
Capabilities
Its AC block includes the inverter, which points to renewable colocation, storing output from a wind or solar plant on the same site. Sungrow ST6900UX-4H PowerTitan 3.0 Liquid Cooled Energy Storage System holds about 3.84 h of storage at full power, calculated from 6.904 MWh and 1.8 MW, and the specifications suggest capacity value, being counted on as supply when the network is tight.

Plant Round-Trip Efficiency
The calculator estimates the full "plant" round-trip efficiency (RTE) at the point of interconnection. Some values are pre-blocked depending on information on a particular ESS. The rows that are marked "each way" are one-way efficiencies; they are applied on charge and again on discharge. We then square them. To enter a bundled PCS efficiency value, use its rated-power value, not peak. If the PCS skid already includes the LV/MV transformer, set Transformer LV/MV to 100 % so those losses are not counted twice.
Site Space Required
Shared: one 3 m aisle serves both neighbours. Dedicated: each unit keeps its own 3 m, so gaps double to 6 m.
Single unit — matches the stored area_sqm convention.
